Bharat Ratna for Vajpayee and Malviya!

The Central government has decided that Ex-Prime Minister AB Vajpayee and Famous Freedom Fighter, Madan Mohan Malavya will be given the highest civilian honour, Bharat Ratna. The Central cabinet meeting took place a short while ago and they have confirmed both the names.

Later the recommendation was forwarded to the President of India which was also ratified by the President of India, Pranab Mukherjeev. These awards will be given on Republic day. Family member of Malviya will be receiving the award since he got it posthumously.

Narendra Modi played his moves intelligently to give the Award to Vajpayee, BJP’s Longest Served Prime Minister. Malviya, the freedom fighter also worked as Congress Party President twice. By giving him, he put a check to possible allegations of respecting his own party leader (Vajpayee). At the same time, Modi also made sure a freedom fighter is respected
