Allagadda MLA Bhuma Akhila Priya fainted due to heat stroke. She had gone to attend a jatara at the Dablugovinne village in Dornipadu mandal, where she participated in many puja rituals.
She was fasting to take part in the pujas. Due to this she fainted as the rituals were going on. She was immediately shifted to Allagadda government hospital by her staff and family members.
Bhuma Akhila Priya carried the Ganda deepam of village deity Moola Peddamma during the jatara following which she suddenly collapsed.
The doctors conducted primilinary tests and said it was due to fatigue caused by heat. Bhuma Akhila Priya’s condition is said to be stable.
Akhila Priya was in news recently for her comments about Jagan’s call for vennupotu day. Addressing media, she said it was Jagan who backstabbed his sister Sharmila by not giving her a post despite her supporting him when he was in jail.
Bhuma Akhila Priya also said that Jagan backstabbed his own mother by making her resign from the party.
