Bhumana’s Arrest Imminent?

Earlier last month, YSR Congress Leader and former MLA, Bhumana Karunakara Reddy got the notices from APCID. The slueths back then questioned him for two days about his alleged involvement in the lawlessness that took place after Kapu Gharjana meeting. CID today served notice once again to Bhumana and asked him to attend before them in Guntur on Monday.

Speculations are on that Bhumana will be arrested this time. Political experts say unless CID found some evidence against Bhumana, it is unlikely to call him for second time questioning. Bhumana’s friend, Meher who resides in Kakinada also got notices to attend for the questioning. Similarly, No.1 News Channel MD, Sudhakar Naidu who did not attend the questioning till now was served notices for the second time.

People in Godavari districts say that YSR Congress funded the Kapu Gharjana meeting which was attended by Lakhs of people. Mudragada who was away from active politics for a long time could not afford such huge meeting otherwise, they say. Bhumana alleges the government harassment in this case while CID sources say there are evidence of his involvement and abetting of the violence in this case.
