Big Blow for Telangana on AP Power employees issue!

Our readers are aware that Telangana government had unilaterally relieved 1250 employees of AP native from its Power utilities. The employees have knocked the doors of high court and got a stay on the process and now Center had also interfered in this issue.

Andhra Pradesh government had taken the issue to center’s notice and then the central government had instructed the Telangana government to continue the state before the bifurcation until further instructions. Center opined that Telangana government did not follow the AP Reorganization act in the employees decision.

Union Home Ministry in its letter asked both the government to sit down and solve the issue amicably as per the guidelines in the act. Incase they do not arrive at a consensus, Center promised to intervene at appropriate time and do the needful.
