
But nothing of such sort has happened. The Election Commission has revealed that Janasena can continue to use the same symbol. But then, Janasena will continue as an unrecognized political party.
It is interesting to note that the Election Commission allotted the ‘Glass’ symbol to an independent in the Tirupati by-election.
The Election Commission also revealed the financial health of the party. Rs.26.37 crores were received in the form of donations.
Till last year, the party’s income was Rs 22.36 crores, the income this year is Rs. 26.37 crores as reported to the EC.
Janasena Party has buildings worth Rs 1.01 crores, vehicles worth Rs 66.37 lakhs, and office equipment worth Rs 56.34 lakhs.
The party has an income of Rs 95.47 lakhs through insurance and currently Rs. 7.60 crores are in the party’s bank accounts.
