BJP buys a film!

Bharatiya Janta Party, the main opposition party in the country is buying a film. Wonder what a political party got to do with a film! Here we go. A movie titled Bharath Stores won the national award for Best Regional Movie (Kannada) earlier this year. The film effectively deals with ill-effects of Foreign Direct Investments in to the nation. BJP in Karnataka was very impressed with the film and bought it from the producer.

The party will screen the movie in various regions of the country for free and will also distribute free DVDs of the film. They feel that this is the best way to reach people instead of delivering long speeches. And also they hope this film will help in their anti-congress campaign just ahead of 2014 elections.
