BJP Comes to the Support of Tainted TDP MLA

TDP Anakapalli MLA, Peela Govinda Satyanarayana who was the accused in a Land Grabbing Case in Vishakapatnam got an unexpected support in the form of BJP MLA, Vishnu Kumar Raju. The MLA termed the case on Peela as unethical and illegal.

“Action should be taken on those who tampered the records. Why should someone who bought the land unknowingly suffer? The government may want to prove that it is serious by framing a TDP MLA,” Vishnu Kumar Raju said.

The 96 Acres of Land is expected to cost 300 Crore as per the market value. The MLA claims that it was purchased by his father in 1995 and he did not know if the land is a government land. SIT has received over 2000 complaints which are several years old.
