BJP Decides to Sacrifice AP for Telangana?

Reliable Reports suggests that BJP high command has decided to take Telangana side in all the contentious issues between both the Telugu States that arose after the bifurcation. This stance is to paint BJP as Pro-Telangana party which will help it in 2019 elections.

The first step in that direction is taking decision favorable to Telangana in the division of assets of Schedule 9 and 10 Institutions. Despite the court’s directive in AP’s favor, Center ruled out the division in Telangana’s favor to Chandrababu’s utter disbelief.

AP is now gearing for the grueling legal process on this issue. On the other side, BJP Leader, Purandhareeswari is in talks with TDP (TS) MLA, R Krishnaiah to bring him into Telangana BJP. If that happens, it will be the breaking point to TDP and BJP alliance.

BJP already had its option open for YSR Congress in case TDP decides to bite the bullet. Congress played such shrewd politics during the bifurcation and lost big time in both the states. Time will only tell if BJP is also traveling the same path.
