BJP Divided Over Three Capitals Proposal?

Ever since the announcement of the Three Capitals formula, the farmers who have given their lands for Amaravati are in a panic. There are mixed reactions to this idea in the people as well. Meanwhile, BJP seems to be divided over this proposal as the party has no stand over the issue.

BJP President Kanna Lakshminarayana who is from Guntur District found fault with the Chief Minister’s announcement and termed this decision as an example of Jagan’s inexperience. He opined that when decentralization of the Development is needed, the administration is being decentralized which is of no use.

Meanwhile, BJP MP and national spokesman GVL Narasimha Rao in Delhi welcomed Jagan Mohan Reddy’s plan of having three capitals. He even went on to say that the previous Government did not listen to their advice in that direction. BJP MLCs – Somu Veerraju and PVN Madhav also welcomed this development.

It has to be seen in which direction the party’s national leadership aligns.
