BJP evaluating the loss/gain of Section 8

Section 8 which gives the responsibility of Law and Order in Hyderabad to Governor is the most talked about issue right now between Telangana and AP. We do not known that KCR gained with the Cash for Vote controversy but this Section 8 discussion suddenly surfaced.

With BJP voted for the Section in Reorganization Act, the party is reportedly carefully evaluating the loss and gain involved in this if Section 8 is imposed. If at all the law and order is kept under the control of Governor, Center will automatically control Hyderabad which will be benefiting BJP.

BJP top brass are of the opinion the ruling government will be toothless if there is no control over Hyderabad and so it is the best chance for BJP to expand in Telangana via Governor. Anyways, there is a political vacuum in AP where BJP can attain second place if Jagan gets in to trouble with his legal cases. Also Section 8 will bring cheer to the people of AP. This way BJP will be in better position in both the Telugu states.
