BJP High Command Sends Clear Indication About its AP Strategy

BJP has appointed MLC Somu Veerraju as the President of the Party’s Andhra Pradesh Unit. BJP High Command has sent a crucial message regarding the direction it takes in AP Politics. Somu Veerraju used to be a bitter critic of TDP even when the latter is in NDA and played a crucial role in the breakup.

He always appeared to be a hater of TDP and also has some unexplained love for YSR Congress. Even after the Government change, Somu criticizes TDP’s past policies even while speaking about current issues. BJP High Command may have sent a signal that it is keen on friendship with Jagan’s Party in the coming days.

Probably, this is for YSR Congress‘ support in Rajya Sabha. One more important thing to note here is that BJP had shown the door to Kanna Lakshminarayana who supports Amaravati and preferred Somu Veerraju who welcome the three capitals idea of Jagan Government.

If that is the case, it is more or less confirmed that the decentralization bills will be passed by the Governor and the President effortlessly. BJP is also looking for Kapu Voters Consolidation via their Partner Pawan Kalyan and now having the President from the same community.
