BJP Makes A Blunder In The Case of Telangana?

There were speculations about the change in BJP Leadership in Telangana for a long time. DK Aruna and Bandi Sanjay are said to be the frontrunners. But sources say that the party high command has put the decision on hold for now. They say they are keen on continuing Lakshman for a year or two.

BJP High Command is of the opinion that a change in the leadership now will be of no use and will only create problems between the leaders. So, they are keen on continuing Lakshman for a year or two. The official announcement may come after the Municipal Elections.

Lakshman belong to BC Category and that has also helped his case to some extent. BJP had got horrendous results in the last Assembly Elections with Lakshman himself losing. But the party staged a Comeback in the Parliament Elections winning four MP seats. Even though the result has got nothing to do with the State Leadership, that has helped Lakshman.

Sources also told us that DK Aruna is the frontrunner due to the community support, financial status, and her aggressiveness but the party’s Central Leadership feels that making her Party President will send wrong signals since she joined the party only recently. But Political Experts say the delay would derail BJP’s efforts towards strengthening in Telangana.
