BJP Minister in AP To Face Axe?

Endowments Minister Pydikondala Manikyala Rao is reportedly facing the axe after two back to back controversies. A huge controversy is blown out of proportions after the reports of Tantrik Poojas performed in Vijayawada Kanaka Durga Temple.

The opposition had gone a step ahead and alleged that the Poojas were done at the behest of the Chief Minister himself to make his son, Nara Lokesh as the Chief Minister. Manikyala Rao is seen nowhere explaining the things even though it happened right under his nose.

And then, there is another controversy in which the minister walked into himself. He came in the defense of Ghazal Srinivas who was arrested in a sexual harassment case. He went on to say these are fake allegations and he knew Ghazal Srinivas right from his childhood.

Even though the minister backtracked his statements, the damage is already done. There is intense pressure on the Chief Minister to show him the door out of the cabinet. Such move will also deter the relations between TDP and BJP. But not acting now will batter the image of the government.
