MLA’s private meet with Jagan sparks controversy

In a sudden turn of events, BJP’s Vishakapatnam North MLA and BJP’s Floor leader in AP Assembly, Vishnu Kumar Raju met Leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in his chamber in the Assembly for about 20 minutes. Earlier in Assembly, Vishnu Kumar Raju also praised Jagan’s father and former Chief Minister, Late YS Rajasekhar Reddy.

Interestingly, Vishnu Kumar Raju is the MLA who ridiculed that government should offer best of medical services to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as he lost his mental stability following the electoral defeat. In the rumours of a possibility of YSR Congress getting merged in to BJP, this meeting assumes significance. It is also astonishing to see an MLA of BJP who is a part of government praising the opposition party leaders and meeting with them.

Experts say this move may be a tactical move by BJP to urge Telugu Desam Party to give them more seats in the upcoming Greater Vishakapatnam Municipal Corporation by moving close to the opposition party.Other wise Vishnu Kumar Raju do not have it in him to take an independent decision to meet Jagan
