BJP not ready to irk Naidu?

Reports are emerging that BJP high command is on the verge of declaring the state BJP President. They reportedly ruled out MLC Somu Veerraju’s candidature for the top post as it may foil the relations between TDP and BJP. They are reportedly considering to have a Rayalaseema leader for the post.

Challapally Narasimha Reddy, the senior most leader of the party is likely to be nominated by the high command. Narasimha Reddy is considered non-controversial and is likely to strike balance between TDP and BJP. Also Somu Veerraju’s candidature is not beging accepted by every one in the party.

His appointment is likely to ensure that there is a vertical split in the party. So considering all the factors, BJP high command is considering Narasimha Reddy as good option. However Somu Veerraju faction is still batting for his candidature putting pressure on the high command that it is the only way to strengthen to the party in AP.
