BJP preparing ground for Modi's Amaravati visit!

Over the last few days, we have been listening some news or other from the center regarding helping the truncated Andhra Pradesh. Center had announced 1000 Crore help for Polavaram, Capital and others. And now there is the agriculture university in Lalm Farm and dredging port in Narasapuram.

Interestingly all these sops are due for AP from almost an year and the center is just announcing them once again to give an impression to people that something is happening. This was to clear route for Modi’s visit to Amaravati on 22nd for the capital foundation stone laying ceremony.

BJP do not want protests to welcome the Prime Minister. Experts expect Modi to announce a special package to the state in his visit. We already know that Niti Aayog was assigned the responsibility of preparing the road map for Center’s help to the state. However Modi is unlikely to give clarity regarding the Special Status demand.
