Kanna Begins Kapu-Engineering In Favour of BJP

Kanna Lakshminarayana, the new appointee as Andhra Pradesh BJP President has begun his work almost immediately. Kanna met Kapu Strongman Mudragada Padmanabham and the other Prominent Leaders the other day and held closed-door talks with them.

Kanna who hails from Kapu Community reportedly promised the Party High Command to ensure that the dominant Caste in Andhra Pradesh to rally with BJP in the next elections. Subsequently, he has met Kapu leaders seeking their support for the party.

On the other side, Somu Veerraju’s faction in BJP is fuming at this appointment. Somu has become unreachable since the other day and his followers in East Godavari are resigning one after the other rejecting the decision of the high command.

They are disappointed with the party high command giving such important post to a newcomer ignoring a leader who stayed with the party for decades. Interestingly, Kanna had sent his resignation to Amit Shah a few days ago and was about to join YSR Congress.
