BJP’s Promise To Janasena Mere Lip Service to Pawan Kalyan?

The other day, Janasena President Pawan Kalyan went to Delhi and met BJP President JP Nadda asking him to leave the Tirupati By-elections seat to Janasena. After the meeting, Pawan Kalyan said a committee will be appointed to decide who should contest in Tirupati.

But BJP seems to be not serious about it and has started working in the constituency. BJP Rajya Sabha MP, GVL Narasimha Rao dropped in Tirupati Airport this morning and reviewed the amenities available at the airport. The plan is to review the works of Tirupati Smart City but the MP backtracked as the state government officials are likely not to co-operate.

So, he went to the airport which is under the Central Government. GVL Narasimha Rao is an MP from Uttar Pradesh and holds no official position to conduct a review meeting but it happened. It looks like BJP had decided to contest and the committee assurance is mere lip service to Janasena.

Tirupati By-election is likely to happen in January. It has become imminent due to the sudden demise of sitting MP, Balli Durga Prasad Rao of YSR Congress
