BJP and TDP All Set for Divorce?

It looks like Divorce is imminent between TDP and BJP sooner or later. We have seen a section of BJP trying to defame the state government and also the Prime Minister himself is being insensitive to the state by denying appointment to the Chief Minister.

But then BJP high command is keen on elevating anti-TDP leaders in the party. BJP is going to announce a new President to the party this month-end. Sources tell us that Somu Veerraju and Kanna Lakshmi Narayana are the frontrunners for this post.

Both of them are known to be haters of TDP and Naidu since a long time. Their elevation will only mean that BJP is looking at other options in Andhra Pradesh. The success or failure of such alliance is a different topic altogether.

There are rumors that Jagan has offered to BJP that he is ready to leave a majority of Lok Sabha seats to BJP if they confine themselves to fewer seats in the Assembly. Obviously, BJP cannot get such a deal from TDP. So, the saffron party is very interested.
