BJP’s strategic mistake in Telangana?

Few days ago, Lakshman is appointed as Telangana BJP State President. However this seem to be a strategic mistake from BJP President, Amit Shah. Firstly he got the social calculations wrong. The appointment is more of theoretic since BC population are present more in Telangana. But the fact is that Telangana politics revolve around Reddys.

Lakshman is too soft to face an aggressive ruling party. Also it is clear that he is reluctant to accept the role but it is forced on him. So it is obvious that he can not give 100% to the position. Telangana BJP clearly lacks a good leadership. Even the recent past President, Kishan Reddy did very little for the party development in the state.

There is a clear vacuum in Telangana political sphere with opposition almost dead. TDP is completely routed out and there are no signs of redemption round the corner. Congress is also struggling as well despite granting the separate statehood. This is the best chance for BJP to establish its foothold here.
