Both AP and Telangana given Phone Tapping demo?

The Wikileaks cables of leaked emails about the purchase of phone tapping equipment has created a sensation of sorts as anti-TDP media particularly Telangana media tried to cash on it. However it backfired as it was revealed later that the security equipment demonstration was presented to both the Telangana and AP intelligence departments.

However, Telangana intelligence officials defends that they never contacted any surveillance and security equipment maker or middlemen nor received any presentations. The claims very similar to that of Andhra Pradesh intelligence departments.

Two GOs issued by the AP and Telangana governments floated at that time confirm that police heads of both the states were in Prague at that time. AP GO No 1628 and Telangana G.O No 493 accorded permission to Senior officials of Intelligence departments to visit Prague to participate in the International Support Systems (ISS) World Europe Training Conference and Exhibition held at the Clarion Congress Hotel, Prague from June 2-4, 2015. As per Hindu report this pertains to period between Aug. 2011 and Jan. 2014 when the State was still united that’s when the communication first started.

On the other side, Telangana Lawyers JAC had filed a police complaint against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu at Banjara Hills Police Station. They allege that Chandrababu is conspiring to topple the Telangana government. They accuse Naidu of tapping over 50 phones of Telangana government.
