APCC president YS Sharmila criticized her brother YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for calling Botsa Satyanarayana a fatherly figure. She asked how Jagan could call Botsa, who demeaned their father YSR multiple times, as his fatherly figure.
Yesterday, during his campaign, Jagan Mohan Reddy termed Botsa as his fatherly figure. He also said that he affectionately calls Botsa as “anna”.
During her rally in Repalle today, Sharmila criticized Jagan for making such statements. She stated that Botsa once called YS Rajashekar Reddy a drunkard right in the state’s assembly.
She reminded Jagan that Botsa had accused him of being responsible for the death of his father, YSR. Additionally, she recalled Botsa’s statement where he said that Jagan should be hanged.
Sharmila also stated that Botsa didn’t even spare her mother Vijayamma and insulted her. She questioned if there is a single person in the YSR Congress party who follows the ideology of YS Rajashekar Reddy.
She alleged that people like Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Rajini and RK Roja, who abused YSR in the past, have become brothers and sisters of Jagan Mohan Reddy now.
“People who did padayatras and died for him, mean nothing to Jagan,” accused Sharmila. She said there is no YSR in YSRCP. She stated that in the current scenario, Y refers to YV Subbareddy, S refers to Vijaya Sai Reddy and R refers to Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy.
