Boyapati’s Strong Satires On Jagan

Ram and Boyapati Srinu’s Skhanda was released today. The movie had some satires on the Jagan Mohan Reddy Government in Andhra Pradesh. Particularly, there is a college scene wherein the hero and the heroine are political science students.

Racha Ravi plays Hero’s friend in the movie and tells the lecture that he wants to be a Political Analyst. Indirectly referring to Prashant Kishor, he says a lengthy dialogue about how PK through his I-PAC manipulated the Andhra Pradesh electorate to vote for Jagan. There is also a reference to freebies.

There was a thunderous response to the dialogue in the theaters.

After that, Ram says he wants to become the Chief Minister and says it is very easy with money, booze, and murders. When asked if it is not difficult, he says it is not because the current CMs have become that way only.

There were slogans of ‘Jagan, Jagan’ in theaters for this dialogue.

People were connecting to Jagan and KCR in the scenes referring to CMs of AP and Telangana. Some people say the character of the CMs ruining an industrialist has been inspired by Satyam Rama Linga Raju.

The popular belief back then is that it was the Late YSR who lured Satyam Rama Linga Raju into the wrong path and destroyed his hard-earned business empire.

There is also a dialogue in the second half about the ‘Boom Boom’ liquor available in Andhra Pradesh.

At a time when the film industry is fearing to talk anything about Jagan, Boyapati Srinu and Ram sent a message they have nothing to fear.
