TV5 chairman BR Naidu has been appointed as the TTD chairman. Since his appointment, BR Naidu has been visiting several VIPs and many are meeting him too. The other day he met BRS MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav, and this has sparked negative reactions.
Telugu Desam party supporters are totally upset about this. It is interesting to note that BR Naidu himself went to Talasani Srinivas Yadav‘s house. Talasani himself posted this picture on his X account, and it did not go well with the TDP supporters.
Talasani was previously in TDP and shifted to BRS. Once in BRS, he became a bitter critic of Chandrababu Naidu, taking the side of KCR completely.
He even went to the extent of going to Andhra Pradesh and campaigning for Jagan inthe 2019 elections.
TDP supporters could not digest the fact BR Naidu went all the way to Talasani’s house.
They have been posting on X that as the TTD chairman, BR Naidu should confined himself to serving the God and the devotees. They are asking him to refrain from the VIP Seva. Understanding the gravity of the situation. Talasani deleted the post from X, but the dissent is still going on.
But then, there is something more than this. In this episode, BR Naidu is not just politician. He is a businessman and Media owner.
It is important for him to maintain relations with all political parties. Businessmen especially those located in Hyderabad should be in the good books of BRS as well as Congress so as to protect their assets. Tomorrow, BRS can come to Power in Telangana and so BR Naidu obviously wants to be friends with all the political parties in Telangana.
But then due to the bad blood between BRS and TDP, this is not going well with the TDP supporters.
But then, the problems and compulsions of BR Naidu are not of TDP’s. The party supporters only have the agenda of the party.
They expect the same from BR Naidu since Chandrababu gave him the most important nominated post of the entire country.
Probably BR Naidu should exercise more caution from here.
