BRS Sees Damage, Makes A Big U-Turn

The BRS party took a rather light stance on CBN’s arrest issue right after it happened. KTR said it is a matter related to AP politics and it is of no concern in Telangana. Harish Rao said it is a war between two parties and said BRS has no say in it.

At first, BRS saw the arrest issue solely as a political matter and didn’t necessarily saw the depth of it. But after seeing the huge public uproar and the public movement in the Telugu states and also in USA, the KCR-led party has changed its stance.

Now, Talasani Yadav made a dedicated statement where he firmly condemned the arrest of Chandrababu.

“Chandrababu is a national icon and he worked very hard for both the Telugu states and erstwhile AP to the fullest of his abilities. Jailing such a man while he is at the ripe age of 73 is unacceptable. It pains me a lot to see him like this” Talasani Srinivas Yadav stated.

Of late, BRS has bee actively condemning the arrest of CBN. Incidentally, Harish Rao rectified his first mistake and later condemned the arrest, saying it is not right to jail a veteran leader like that. KTR went on to appease TDP troops by praising NTR to the sky.

And now, Talasani has issued an open statement in support of Chandrababu. The clear change in BRS’s paradigm is to be seen here. They have clearly taken a U-turn on the matter.
