Budget crashes hopes of Gannavaram airport!

The Union budget tabled in Parliament on Saturday badly crashed the hopes of the state in developing the Gannavaram airport on par with other International Airports. The expansion plans of the airport reached crucial phase after the officials are busy convincing farmers to give up their lands for the airport expansion.

On the other side, Airports Authority of India (AAI) is drawing plans of modernizing the airport to reach the international expectations. But every one are shell shocked to find not a single rupee allocation for the airport expansion. This will hamper all the plans as the deficit budget state can not even afford the land acquisition costs now.

People are lamenting that there is no use to the state even having our man ‘Ashok Gajapathi Raju’ as the Union Civil Aviation Minister. Seems like Modi and Amit Shah are controlling every ministry with a remote!
