Busted with Proof: Propaganda of 2000 Cr!

After three days of relentless propaganda that the Income Tax Department has seized 2000 Crore Rupees from Pendyala Srinivas, a former Personal Secretary of Chandrababu Naidu, TDP has decided to bust it. The party had released the after-raid report of Srinivas which was signed by the raiding officer.

According to the report, the IT Department just managed to find 2.63 Lakhs Cash (all in the denominations of 500s) and 12 Tulas of Gold from Srinivas. He reportedly claimed that the cash and gold were kept for his daughter’s marriage. The department notified the findings but did not seize it.

Immediately when the raid happened, TDP wanted to bring Srinivas before the media but he is a State Government Employee in service and coming before media is against the Service Rules. TDP supporters are extremely disappointed that the party allowed the Propaganda to go on for three days.

They are demanding that the party should serve defamation notices to the media houses who tried to tarnish the image of Chandrababu and TDP. Sakshi Media even carried a Special Article today calling Chandrababu as Avineethi Chakravarthi.
