Buzzing Topic: KTR Double Talk On NTR’s Name!

Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Ramarao unveiled Legendary NT Ramarao’s Statue in Khammam today. He heaped praises on the Legendary actor cum politician on this occasion.

He also remarked on the name ‘NTR’. “There is some power in that name – Taraka Ramarao. I have the same name,” KTR said amid the cheers and claps of the BRS leaders and cadre present there.

At this juncture, people on social media were remembering a past and contrasting statement of KTR.

“It is not true my father named me after NTR. In fact, he was never present in my naming ceremony. My grandfather named me as such. It is not at all related to NT Ramarao,” KTR said in Open Heart with RK many years ago.

When RK specifically asked if he was ready to change the name if the political need arose. KTR replied he is ready if there is a need.

People are saying that KTR is doing Double Talk with elections fast approaching.

“This is nothing about Double Talk. KTR may have realized settlers in the GHMC and Khammam are upset with his Pressmeet on Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest. So, this may be Damage Control to appease them with elections round the corner,” they are saying.
