“Call Me Eknath Shinde, I Will Beat With Slipper”

On Wednesday, former minister & BRS MLA Harish Rao participated in a Question Hour where he was grilled by a few journalists.

He emphasized that his party doesn’t aim to bring down the Congress government and wants it to complete its full term of 5 years.

Rao stressed the importance of fulfilling promises, stating that CM Revanth Reddy should earn a better reputation by keeping his word. He warned that failing to do so could lead to people kicking out the Congress.

Rao also announced plans to revert the party’s name from BRS to its original name, TRS.

Harish Rao didn’t hold back when the journalists asked if he would betray KCR and become the ‘Eknath Shinde’ of Telangana as the party’s position is dwindling in the state. Eknath Shinde had backstabbed Uddhav Thackeray and split Shivsena, joined hands with BJP to become the chief minister.

Harish Rao made it clear that he values his character and loyalty above all else. He’s been with one party for 24 years and won’t switch sides for personal gain like Revanth Reddy.

Rao bluntly used strong language and warned anyone who dared to call him ‘Eknath Shinde’ that he’d confront them and beat them with chappals.
