Can Center Take up Such Massive Exercise?

Demonetization which was aimed to weed out Black Money is posing many troubles for the people despite the good intention. We have seen the Black Sharks finding ways to escape from IT radar using various techniques. So far, several arrests were made which also includes Bankers and even RBI officials.

Finally, the Center had instructed the banks to send all the details of the bank accounts in which the deposits have gone up more than 2.5 Lakhs since November 8th. According to an estimate there are 62 Crore Savings Accounts 80 Crore of other Bank Accounts. Banks will have really tough time to scrutiny these accounts.

And if that exercise is complete, IT department will have really tough time to check those accounts and decide upon them. Taking few samples is the usual exercise, such massive scale operation is never done in the past. So, if that happens it will be a sensational job. The Center is using the services of retired IT employees as well for this drive.
