Can Harish Rao Win Where KTR Failed?

When a majority of the State voted in favour of the ruling TRS party, erstwhile Khammam was one district where the pink party could bag just one seat while Congress won six, TDP two and an Independent, one. The One Independent already joined the TRS Party taking the tally to Two.

In 2018 elections, Minister KTR oversaw the district politics and failed miserably to control the group fights in the party. KCR believed that the failure of TRS in the district is due to the leaders than the people. Now, he wants to bag the Khammam Parliament Segment in the upcoming elections at any cost.

Buzz is that Harish Rao who is known as the Troubleshooter of KCR will be given the responsibility of the district. He is unlikely to get a cabinet berth in this expansion and will completely concentrate on the district until the elections. Harish previously handled such difficult election and turned them in favour of TRS.
