Can Jagan’s dharna mask Naidu’s heroics?

Leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy seems to be a very impatient man after the electoral defeat. The young leader did all that he can to stain Naidu’s six month ruling but failed in each of his efforts. But unfazed Jagan Mohan Reddy is resorting to a Mahadharna in Hudhud affected Vishakapatnam on 5th December.

This can be termed as a very daring decision given that Vishakapatnam was mesmerized by the relief and rehabilitation works taken up by Chandrababu Naidu’s government during the recent havoc and there are doubts all over if Jagan will make a mark on local people with his Mahadharna.

Jagan is undertaking this dharna to question Chandrababu for not fulfilling various poll promises made before the elections. Experts say the mood of the Seema Andhra people is more or less patient with Chandrababu as they understand the weak finances inherited by the state after the bifurcation. Jagan’s impatient attempts to disdain the ruling government will only prove counterproductive for Jagan and his YSR Congress Party.
