Can Lokesh pull out a KTR feat?

Andhra Pradesh is gearing up for a new round of elections. Vishakapatnam, Kakinada, Guntur, Ongole, Kurnool, Tirupati, Srikakulam, Rajam, Nellimerla, Kandukur and Rajampeta municipalities did not have elections for various reasons. But government is keen to resolve all the hurdles and conduct elections there.

These municipalities are covering all the parts of the state. And so elections here will be like a mini General election. Reports are emerging that the Chief Minister is keen to unleash his son and TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh in this election. The Party cadre is looking at Lokesh to pull out a KTR like feat.

KTR, the scion of Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhara Rao led his party to a never before seen or head victory in Greater Hyderabad Civic Polls. Except for one or two places, there is a clear wave in favour of the ruling party, according to the surveys. If Lokesh manages to pull out a sensational victory, then it may be son rise time in AP politics as well.
