Capital City Amaravathi in NTR’s district?

Andhra Pradesh Government had almost confirmed Amaravathi as the name of the state’s upcoming capital city. On the other side, fans and party leaders are demanding the city to be named after Legendary Telugu Politician and Chief Minister, Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao. It is said that Naidu is planning to created a capital district and name it after NTR.

This new district will be carved out from Guntur and Krishna districts and will be named after NTR. The revenue department already chalked out plans regarding this and is waiting for a go-ahead from the CM.

Congress government renamed Kadapa as YSR Kadapa district bestowing a permanent place for YS Rajasekhar Reddy who died in helicopter crash. Now TDP wants to use this opportunity to inscribe NTR’s name in the history of the region permanently. Naidu has got a rare opportunity to build a capital city right from the scratch and will want this to make some pages in the history for him, NTR and the party.
