Capital city farmers anxious on Amaravati master plan!

The Singapore experts team entrusted the job of designing the core capital master plan, are likely to submit it to the state government by July 20th. The master plan for the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has already been submitted and the Singapore team is currently designing the plan of the seed capital.

The state government had to allot residential and commercial plots to farmers who have given their lands under the Land Pooling Scheme (LPS). Farmers are anxiously waiting for the master plan so as to know where exactly the government will allot them developed plots in return for their agricultural land.

However sources say that the core capital city master plan will indicate the location of government buildings such as the legislative assembly, secretariat, Raj Bhavan, high court and chief minister’s office and the micro-level information, including location of developed layouts, only in the final master plan to be readied by August end.
