Capital Master Plan to come earlier!

The Singapore government’s Expert Team which is currently working on the Master Plan of the state’s upcoming capital is quick than expected. Earlier it is said that the team will be completing the plan and submitting it by the end of June. But now, the Master plan is coming earlier than expected.

The Singapore team has confirmed that they will be submitting the plan to Andhra Pradesh government is the first week of May itself. In such case, the government will be gearing up for laying the foundation stone of the capital in May 2nd week itself. The ground breaking ceremony will take place in Tullur only. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is eager to begin the capital construction as soon as possible so that he can go to the next elections showing the capital.

Chandrababu Naidu has promised world class capital for the truncated state. Once the capital construction begins, Chandrababu will be shifting base to Vijayawada from Hyderabad to personally supervise the capital construction. Most structures in the capital except the heritage structures like Assembly, secretariat etc will be build on Public Private Partnership (PPP) model.
