Cash for Vote: Public Pulse in Andhra Pradesh!

The Cash for Vote controversy and the subsequent Phone tapping issue had engulfed all the major headlines in media for the last two weeks. Both AP and Telangana are involved in a serious tussle since then after both the Chief Ministers trying to outsmart the other. Here is what AP Public thinks about the issue and the effect of this controversies on TDP government.

Firstly, TDP’s image had taken a toss in Telangana where the people are already not happy with Chandrababu Naidu. And on the other side, there are serious repercussions of this issue in AP. People see this entire episode as an attempt to hit Chandrababu’s image and AP’s self respect. Even though many think TDP is at wrong in horse trading, they feel that TDP is forced to do that as TRS is poaching TDP MLAs for a long time.

They see this issue as harassment on AP government as well as settlers. All of sudden they recognize the importance of imposing Section 8 in Hyderabad as their own Chief Minister is not safe in the common capital. This controversy is more of a plus for TDP than a damage. Further more, AP people are also not happy with Jagan as they feel he is working together with TRS for damaging Chandrababu, thereby pegging back the state development.
