Casino Issue: ED Questions YCP Senior Leader

It is known that the Enforcement Directorate started investigating illegal Casino gambling and related money laundering four months ago. The ED officials had searched the properties of Chikoti Praveen, Madhava Reddy, and others in connection with this case.

Now again, the investigation of the case has been amped up. Today, YSRCP senior leader from Anantapur and Ex-MLA, Gurunath Reddy attended the ED investigation today.

The ED ordered Gurunath Reddy to appear for investigation and so he did today at the ED office in Basheerbagh, Hyderabad. The officials are investigating Gurunath Reddy’s part in the whole gambling scenario.

The primary complaint is that a large amount of money is laundered to foreign countries through casino gambling. Rich and wealthy individuals in the Telugu states are sent overseas on costly tourist packages and they are facilitated to gamble there. The ED has now started to investigate on this racket.

Telangana minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav’s brothers, Mahesh Yadav, and Dharmendra Yadav, and other TRS leaders including L Ramana, and others have been called for investigation on this case.
