Caste Hatred: NTR Rs 100 Coins Sold In Black Market!

The government of India released a Special 100 rupee coin of Legendary NT Ramarao to commemorate the 100 years of NTR’s Birth Anniversary. President of India, Draupadi Murmu released the coin at an event in Rashtrapathi Bhavan on Monday.

The coin was made available for purchase on the Indian Government Mint website and the coins were ‘Out of Stock’ very soon due to the high demand.

Each coin was put to sale at Rupees 4000-4850 (depending on the packing)

People who have no knowledge of the commemorative coins are making foul allegations. They are saying that NTR’s family members are selling the coins at jacked-up prices to make money.

They say how a 100 Rupees coin can be sold for 4000+ Rupees.

Commemorative coins are not the usual currency available in the market. They are not available at face value.

That is because they are not made of usual metals like regular coins. For example, NT Ramarao’s coins were made of made with an alloy called the quaternary, which is 50% silver, 40% copper, and 5% of nickel and zinc.

The reputation of the personality should also be reflected in the prices. So, the prices are increased.

Caste hatred peaked on social media and they even disrespect a legend like NT Ramarao for the same reason. These coins were put up on the website of the Indian Government’s mint and there is no role of anyone except for the Government to decide the rates.

Some of these people say why buy 100 Rupees coins at 4000 Rupees+ That is the value of the legends. Even if a 100 Rupees coin is marked as 4000+ and it goes out of stock as soon as it is available, it should speak about the popularity of the Legend.

On the same website, there are commemorative coins for Legends like Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Sri Aurobindo, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and Mahatma Gandhiji.

Mahatma Gandhi’s coin is 150 Rupees and is sold at 7,433 Rupees.

It’s high time people restrict their caste blindness to films and politics and spare the legends.
