CBI Starts Kaleshwaram Probe: Tension in BRS

A key turn has come in the Kaleshwaram scam case that shook Telangana. The CBI has started a preliminary inquiry into Kaleshwaram from Thursday.

The Telangana government asked the CBI to probe misappropriation of funds, irregularities, and corruption allegations. The CBI is now gathering primary information in the case and reviewing important records to move forward.

In political circles, debate is growing on how the BRS will face this storm. The PC Ghose Commission already stated that former CM KCR is the karta, karma, kriya of the Kaleshwaram scam.

The Commission also highlighted that corruption and the sinking of barrages caused heavy losses to the state. Now, the CBI is preparing to question KCR, adding tension to BRS as the inquiry deepens.
