CBI Grills YSR Congress Leaders in Viveka’s Murder Case

The CBI investigation into the murder of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy continued for the tenth day in Kadapa. CBI officials interrogated the three suspects at the Kadapa Central Jail guest house. YSR Congress leaders Lakshmikar and Ramana from Chitveli Mandal and Jagadishwar Reddy from Sunkesula of Simhadripuram Mandal were grilled.

Jagadeeshwar Reddy had previously served as PA for Viveka. Information that he was asked questions on various topics in this context. On Tuesday, CBI officials questioned Sunil Kumar Yadav’s father Krishna Iyengar, who used to be closest to Viveka. The CBI inquired about his sons – Sunil Kumar and Kiran Kumar Yadav.

They asked questions about Viveka like how he used to behave, when he would come home, and where he was on the day of the murder. The CBI has recorded the details as told by Krishna Yadav. CBI officials are keeping the entire investigation a secret for now and made no official statement for now.

Viveka’s daughter, Sunitha has given a list of suspects which also includes YSR Congress state leaders including Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy and his father. Rumors are rife that they will also be questioned very soon.
