CBI Notices To YSRCP Senior Leader

CBI has served notices to Former MLA and YCP Leader, Amanchi Krishna Mohan under CRPC Section 41(A). The agency asked him to come for inquiry on 22nd in the case related to abuse of the Judiciary.

Previously, the CBI had questioned Amanchi in Vishakapatnam regarding the same issue.

Along with many YSR Congress Social media activists, some YSRCP leaders and MLAs were also named in the chargesheet for defaming the judiciary and casting aspirations on the honorable judges.

The High Court has taken the issue seriously and also issued notices to the Social media platforms for allowing such abuses.

With CID taking the case lightly, the high court referred the cases to the CBI.

The CBI registered cases against 16 people on this issue in November last year. The CBI has said that the cases registered by the CID in the past have been registered as such.

The CBI has announced that it is investigating 12 FIRs registered by the CID under Sections 154, 504 and 505 of the IT Act as a single case.

Many of the Social media activists were arrested and had to stay in jail. As a result, many of them stayed permanently away from Social media.

This case becoming active once again with elections fast approaching will be a matter of concern for YSR Congress.
