CBN finally speaks of Special Status agitations!

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is in catch 22 situation regarding the Special status issue. Andhra Pradesh definitely needs the promised Special Status and Naidu can not ignore to support the agitations going on for it. But at the same time, he clearly knows he can not threaten or irk the Central government which is not dependent on TDP or MP.

After several days of silence, Naidu extended his support to the agitations going on in the state demanding the Special Status in a event at Narsipatnam of Viziangaram district. Naidu reiterated that Center is supporting the state in some issues while ignoring in few issues. He assured people that TDP will try its level best to pressurize BJP on this issue.

However no political party really came forward to support Shivaji who did Amarana Deeksha for four days demanding the special status. The police forcibly broke his deeksha and joined him in hospital. UPA government promised Special Status for 5 years during the state bifurcation. BJP then demanded Special Status for 10 years and even promised in their manifesto. But now they are ignoring the promise for political gains.
