
Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu is in Singapore to bring in investments to the state, from the Singapore government, industries and NRIs. It is known that past CM Jagan totally killed the image of the state during his term.
Now, CBN has taken his brand to the city-state, to ensure Andhra Pradesh gets investments from Singapore. Speaking during a conference, Chandrababu invited Singaporean delegation to AP to attend the CII Summit. The CII Summit will be organized in collaboration with the government of Andhra Pradesh on November 14, 15, 2025, in Vizag.
The CM said that he would be ready with MoUs by the time, and called upon the Singaporean delegation to come to execute projects. CM spoke about the strategic location of the state giving it the name Sunrise Andhra Pradesh.
It is centrally located on the east coast, shared Chandrababu. It is India’s 8th largest state with 53 million population, Babu told the audience. The GSDP is $180 billion which is 5% of India’s GSDP share, he said.
Chandrababu, who is a man who believes in statistics, went on to say that manufacturing took 23% share, agriculture 35% and services make up for 42% of state’s economy. Exports in 2024 were 20,000 USD, he shared.
The AP CM put forth further data as he spoke of Prime Minister’s vision of Viksit Bharat, 2047. Chandrababu said he had no doubt that India will be a developed nation by 2047.
India will be a 32 trillion USD economy with 20,000 USD per capita and earning 6 trillion USD in exports. India will have 10% share in global exports by 2047, said Babu giving out the targets set by PM Modi for India.
