CBN Quash Petition At SC: Judgement Reserved

It is known that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu filed a complaint quash petition at the Supreme Court asking to dispose off the Skill development scam that has been alleged against him by the AP government.

Incidentally, the apex court had wrapped up the arguments on the same. The petitioner and the AP government’s legal team have wrapped the arguments.

Now, the Supreme Court has held the judgement on reserve. The judgement could be announced on the 20th of this month.

AP government argued that 17A notice doesn’t apply to Chandrababu Naidu while the petitioner argued that the 17A notice is mandatory in this case and the CID made a mistake by not following the same.

The judgement on the case will now be of quintessential importance as if the apex court disposes the case and approves the quash petition, then the whole case will be gone and CBN will be a free man.

Naidu has been in jail for well over a month now and the legal battle waged by him has been going on and on. The Supreme Court’s verdict turns all the more important now.
