CBN takes hitech route to check Land Frauds!

Going forward there will not be any frauds in Andhra Pradesh where miscreants sell lands with fake documents, the government is planning to launch an interactive website – Mee Bhoomi which has all the details of government and private lands.

The website will be a responsive one which will allow land-holders to check details of their land records and also inform the government on-line about any mistakes they find in the records. And these mistakes will be rectified in stipulated time.

The land record data of revenue and registration departments will be combined to update land records. And going forward, if a transaction is registered, automatic transfer proposal for mutation would be carried out at the Tahsildar level. The Chief Minister will launch the website very soon.
