Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister CM Chandrababu Naidu has made it one of his agendas to warn the non-performing TDP MLAs. He spoke about it during Kadapa Mahanadu.

It is said the CM gave strict warnings to MLAs who were not working in alignment with party principles and expectations, despite repeated words of caution from the leadership.

The party sources share that MLAs involved in sand and liquor irregularities, those busy forming internal groups and leaders spending most of their time outside constituencies, got a rap from the CM.

However, Babu gave no random threats. Armed with surveys and public feedback, the AP CM gave independent progress cards to each MLA. His ultimatum was clear – get your act right or lose the ticket in 2029.

The main objective is to course-correct the MLAs who were forming internal groups, were into controversies and could not take government’s programmes into people.

Chandrababu wants to ensure thumping victory in 2029. Towards this end, he is uncompromising in his candidate selection. Hence, he is emphasizing on MLAs improving their public engagement and performance.

It is said that Chandrababu will meet more MLAs after he returns from his six-day Singapore tour.
