Center applies brakes to Naidu's 24X7 Power dream!

Andhra Pradesh government’s energy conservation works are being appreciated across the length and breadth of the country. However center seem to be not cooperating Naidu’s government in this aspect. Separating feeders for agriculture and home use is very necessary for supplying 24X7 Power.

Center had given around 665 Crore for Rajasthan to take up this project while it clarified to Andhra Pradesh that it is not possible to give funds. Cash strapped Andhra Pradesh could not afford this expense and put the project on hold for now.

Rajasthan have a ruling BJP government which made the difference at the end. This entire project in Andhra Pradesh costs 4000 Crore. Power utilities which are in severe debts can not afford this huge amount.
