Center continues the series of disappointments to AP

Central government which is the process of disappointing Andhra Pradesh in all possible ways, is at it once again. The central government the other day confirmed that it can not give any incentives to the investments made in Amaravati. Minister of State for Finance, Jayanth Sinha in a reply to a question posed by Vijayawada MP, Kesineni Nani said this.

He asked Amaravati to be declared as backward area and be given investment incentives, excise exemptions and also cancel the tax on the money earned by farmers from the lands they got in land pooling. However the minister confirmed that it is not possible as such incentives could deprive other regions in investments and also lead to economic disparities.

This will mean that there can not be any boost in the economy of the proposed capital by the center. The center even did not try to help the farmers who selflessly gave over 33000 acres to the Capital Land Pooling. This is in a way discouraging people who have shown a way out for the nation from the difficult land acquisition.
