Center finally to solve Water issues between AP and TS!

Central government finally shifted its focus on to various ‘water issues’ plaguing both the Telugu States after the bifurcation. Union Water Resources Ministry had invited officials of both the states to come for a meeting on 18th of this month in Delhi. Krishna River Management Board Chairman will also attend the meeting.

The meeting will decide the purview of the Krishna Board. In the last crop season, the water sharing from Srisailam and Nagarjunasagar became controversial and even led to awkward scenes like Police of both the sides fighting at the project sites. Center is planning to clear all the issues before the next crop season.

In this meeting, the new projects proposed by Telangana government may also come to discussion. AP government is alleging that they are started with out obtaining proper permissions while Telangana government clarified that it need not take any permissions for them.
